Activities Lunch
Clubs Volunteers prepare a hot meal for elderly people. Some of the members manage to walk to lunch, while others are collected in our minibus. We always welcome new members. If you, a friend, a family members or a neighbour would like to try out the Lunch clubs then please contact Gwen Lucraft, the Lunch club coordinator. Children
& Young People Meets on Tuesday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm. The Children are encouraged to take part in structured play activities and it also gives parents and carers an opportunity to meet, share support and be creative Midweek Club A club meets every Tuesday evening at 6.00pm during term time for children aged 5yrs and over.This club offers children the opportunity to develop both their creative and social skills through it's planned activities. The Children & Families Project provides a wide variety of training and personal development opportunities to local people of all ages. Training programmes vary from term to term with a mix of accredited courses and some more informal. All Age Learning Throughout the year we provide a number of opportunities for families to learn together and develop new transferable skills in a creative way. Accredited Courses Our accredited course programme provides learning opportunities to gain certification in a variety of subjects including childcare related qualifications and health and safety requirements. Non-accredited Courses These courses are generally of a creative nature encompassing arts and design e.g. woodwork, textiles, mosaic design. People of all ages can access these courses.
